Hinduism Day

We welcomed Sunita from The Hinduism Experience Company to complete our two year cycle of Inter Faith studies.

 

The children enjoyed a whole school assembly and an introduction to the religion of Hinduism and the story of Rama and Sita.

 

Sunita then completed a series of workshops across Key Stage Two based upon the key aspects of beliefs, prayer, holy places and festivals. Key Stage One also held class based activities linked to the festival of prayer, the festival of Holi and Year Two held a Hindu Wedding complete with food, dancing and rituals.
